Well this looks like it might be fun.
The year 1066 is a turning point in history. Choose a side - defend the Saxons, or join attacking Norman forces - and use your strength of arms to help decide the day. This is a special rules melee. We've attempted to make this event a time for fighters to showcase their beautiful mid-period kits in an atmosphere recreating the feel of battles in the 11th century.

THE 3 LAWS OF FIGHTING
(Timeless wisdom from someone who's never won a Crown Tourney)
There are many schools of fighting and levels upon levels of techniques to be mastered. In this essay, I am not even going to attempt to address all that—- there’s too much of it and there are plenty of people far better than me at explaining the nuances of technique (not to mention executing them). What concerns me here are higher order “Laws” that transcend technique or even a particular school of SCA fighting. What I have attempted to do here is come up with those laws and keep the list short enough that even a fighter can remember them.

THUR FP CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
This practice will be opposite Thursday night armouring so not to conflict with Armouring or other practices. We hope this will offer those fighters on the North Side of town a closer place to practice (Auburn Hills) and help us grow the Society and recruit from local colleges.
The best part about this site is that we have an opportunity to grow our relationship with the local church like we did with St. Charles. The church is large enough right now to run small events and sits on 7 acres and with good weather permits us to do MUCH more opportunity.
Practice Info:
Faith Church (going to be The River Church)
315 South Squirrel, Auburn Hills MI (right next to Church lumber yard)
Start Time 6:30pm - 7:00pm

We were talking the other day at Dux Brannos' about the Super Middleweight (168lbs) Super Six Tourney. it is on Showtime.
This Sat Nov 21st is what I think will be the best fight of each of the six fighters facing each other in a round robin until one fighter holds all the belts. Mickell Kessler, Denmark 42-1 squares off against the USA's Olympian Andre Ward 20-0.
On regular Showtime 10pm - no need for PPV.
